Overview
This plan is ideal for the many different businesses that require robust servers, remote mail access and the facilities to enable business centric websites. All of this with ample disk space and generous bandwidth allowances make this one of the best value packages on the market today. You get 100 separate pop3 email accounts, all of which can retrieve mail remotely through our WebMail interface. This is ideal if you have remote workers. In addition, you get unlimited forwarders for e-mail which means you can have separate addresses for promotional purposes without using up your pop3 allocations.
This plan is priced very competitively in light of the facilities it provides. You have full access to the logs for your site enabling you to look and see where your visitors are coming from and what the most popular pages are. This is a great marketing tool and many hosting companies do not provide it.

20 000Mb transfer
Every time someone looks at your web pages, or you receive e-mail, a certain amount of 'bandwidth' is used. We provide a massive 20 gigabytes of bandwidth for you - more than enough for most people. In fact, unless you have specific requirements, it would be unusual to use that entire amount.
You can always check on your bandwidth by looking at the statistics pages which show where it all goes. If you do need extra bandwidth, then we can provide that at a much lower cost than you may think.
CGI Bin access
Many hosts do not allow you to use the CGI Bin which is the special facility that enables you to run scripts. If they do, the facility is often shared with others.
On this plan, you get you own CGI bin, for your exclusive use.
Spam and Virus Protection
Professional, server located spam and virus protection stops potential problems before they get to you. Common threats are filtered out and dangerous files such as programs are prohibited. Spam is reduced significantly with the world leader 'Spam Assassin'. You're in control and can set the levels for triggering spam violations, or turn the feature of altogether.
Note: It is recommended that you install your own anti-virus software on your computer.
Frontpage
For all of those who use Microsoft's FrontPage to create their web sites, we provide the necessary extensions that are required to make FrontPage work correctly. The extensions currently support up to FrontPage 2003.
Site Statistics and Logs
We give you the choice of three (yes three!) separate programs that you can use to see how your site is working. These are Analog, AwStats and Webalizer.
You get to see which are the most popular pages, statistics about how many people have visited them and at what date and time and a whole host of other useful stuff.
All of this is presented in easy to understand tables and charts.
E-mail
100 Individual Pop3 E-mail Accounts
That's right! 100 individual, separate e-mail accounts so all of you in the business can have a personal e-mail address.
Not only do your users all have individual mailboxes, they can get to them while they out on the move using our great WebMail service (see later) which is included free!
SMTP Server/Outgoing mail server
Normally your ISP (the company providing your connection to the World) will insist on you using their mail servers to send e-mail. This is OK if you are fixed in an office, but not so handy when you are out an about at different locations, maybe in internet cafes or other wireless areas.
By having your own SMTP server to send mail, you can save yourself a lot of headaches with changing settings every time!
Note: Some Networks specifically block outgoing mail unless you use their servers. If this occurs, there is nothing Soho can do about it and you will have to go to the provider.
Webmail (get your mail while away!)
You can use the WebMail to access one of the two web mail programs included in your hosting plan with Soho.
These programs will allow you to read your email through a browser window without having to make any changes to the computer you are on or leave any email on the computer you are on. This is a great way of staying in touch when you are away on business as you can see and send e-mails from almost any machine connected to the internet anywhere in the world. It's not bad on holiday either!
Unlimited Email Forwarding
You can use email forwarders to send all email messages that are sent to an account to another account. If you have multiple email accounts, you can use forwarders to send all your mail to one place so you do not have to login to multiple email accounts to check your mail.
MX Mail changes
You can use the Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry) function to change where a domain's email is delivered to. This allows you to have the email from one domain delivered to another domain such as your Exchange Server at work.
Box Trapper
The BoxTrapper allows you to activate email verification for those not on your white list (a list of accepted e-mail addresses). This means that any email address that is not placed on your white list will be required to send back a verification email to ensure that they are not a spammer. This function can be quite useful in preventing automatic mailings that you do not wish to receive from reaching your inbox.
E-Mail address trace
It can be helpful to know exactly where email is coming from. To see the path of an email from its server to your mail server, you will need to trace its address. This can give you information about mail problems and whether or not they are problems with your mail server.

Business Pro Plan Scripts and Programs
Simple CGI Wrapper
CGI Wrapper enables .cgi scripts to run with your username (instead of username 'nobody', group 'nobody'). This feature allows you to run CGI scripts from your /scgi-bin/ directory using your uid (user) to run the script. This means that you, or your web pages can run cgi scripts if they are placed in the /scgi-bin/ directory.
Random HTML
This is a random html generator. It picks a html string out of a list and inserts it in an SSI enabled web page. In Random HTML, you can add many lines of HTML code that will be randomly selected by the Random HTML script to display on a page of your web site. For example, you can place many different facts in a file, and the Random HTML script will display a random fact every time the web page is accessed. This can be useful for daily hints, trivia, or other random information you wish visitors of your site to see.
Counter
You can create a counter to count how many visitors have been to your page.
Clock
This utility will create a real time java clock for your site.
Countdown
You can create a countdown box to countdown to a specified date.
Entropy Search
This preinstalled script enables a nice, quick search engine that can help your visitors find information that they are interested in more easily. The larger the site, the more important the search engine becomes. Simply copy the snippet of code we provide in your cPanel into your html page(s), upload the html file, then use the Rebuild Index function to make your site searchable!
Entropy Banner
The Entropy Banner script allows you to create a set of revolving banner images, normally used for advertising. You can upload and delete files, set priority on the images, and set URLs to which each image points.
